Abstract

One of the best tracks on general culture that must be a citizen is to know the true story of the beginning of their land where he was born, and is this the purpose of this work entitled The worldview of Canton Bolivar in the play A traveler in Centennial author Ovidio Velasquez Alchundia in which narrates the events of the historical beginnings of the canton Bolivar. The construction process it developed in two aspects, the first focused on the story of people who have been witnesses and protagonists of these facts and elsewhere supported by bibliographic documents that rest in the hands of some institutions and famous people of this county. The analysis of each of the topics discussed in the book will help discern whether they are myths, legends and realities each of the topics discussed. Finally, the work is intended to make a historical legacy to future generations own and foreign to investigate and determine the importance of knowing the roots of its people and its population.
