Abstract: The future deficit of the hydric resource leads us to supplant the predominant methodologies of irrigation on gravity (irrigation channels), using pressurized methods (pressurized networks) to optimize water resources and ensure the sustainability of crops and the environment. In order to evaluate the performance of a collective pressurized network, in this paper a Visual Basic module is created that allows us to use the link dynamic library or toolkit from EPANET 2.0 to automate and generalize the methodology proposed by Ait Kadi and Lamaddalena (Lamaddalena and Sagardoy, 2000) The study is based on two pressurized irrigation networks running on the modality of demand. Where different random consumption scenarios are generated and then simulated by the hydraulic calculation engine of EPANET 2.0 in order to obtain the pressure load in each hydrant. The results are used to establish the value of the reliability indexes at the hydrant at system level, which allows to evaluate the performance of the networks depending on the pressure deficit.
