Abstract

One of these changes is focused on orienting and organizing teaching towards e-learning, for its potential for the collaborative construction of knowledge. Currently, UTPL uses the Virtual Learning Environment (EVA) that allows interaction between teachers and professionals in training, which facilitates the teaching-learning process; But there is a need to provide the student with new tools, in line with the technological advances for their training, and it is here that the idea of ​​using Web 2.0 Tools and Resources to impart knowledge and provide another teaching-learning mechanism to the Modality of study Virtual of the university. In the last years the concept of Web 2.0 has been studied, whose main characteristic could be the substitution of the concept of Web of reading, by the one of reading-writing. A multitude of tools are helping the productive processes of information that are developed around the Network, can be implemented without almost any kind of technical knowledge, and without excessive time. For this reason, launching educational actions around the Internet (Web 2.0 education), is nowadays a much easier task from the point of view of the necessary logical resources, with which we can make prevail our teacher profile on more roles Close to the world of Informatics. Thus, the need to implement a Methodology for the development of Virtual Courses using Web 2.0 Tools, in the Open and Distance mode, in order to investigate and analyze the results of applying these new tools in the development of on-line Courses, to To achieve another element to expand the knowledge that is taught in the UTPL.
