Impacto psicosocial y familiar de los cuidadores informales de menores de 18 años beneficiarios del Bono Joaquín Gallegos Lara de la ciudad de Loja.

Abstract

The present investigation is of type quantitative, had like objective to determine the psychological, social and familiar impact in 17 informal caretakers of minors of 18 years of age, with physical and intellectual incapacity, beneficiaries of the Bonus Joaquín Gallegos Lara of the city of Loja, for this a sociodemographic record was used, the ZARIT questionnaire and the SCORE-15. The results of the sociodemographic record indicate that the profile of the informal caregiver investigated is that of a woman, married marital status, 36 years of age, complete secondary education, occupation, chores, anxiety and depression, on the other hand, the results obtained in ZARIT's questionnaire indicates that the majority of those investigated have an intense overload; while with SCORE-15, there is evidence of a family malfunction, with difficulties in communication, states of worry and anguish, but they have the ability to adapt to changes as a strength. Considering these results, a psychosocial and family intervention program was designed to promote emotional self-care and improve the quality of life of the informal caregivers investigated.
