Abstract

Abstract: We enter the knowledge of the history of the canton Zamora, through a televisión documentary about the former mayor Victor Hugo Arias Benavides, a man whose contributions helped grow the so-called "Land of Birds and Waterfalls", ie the canton Zamora. In this context outlining the data is made as to the history lived by the protagonist of the documentary and his countrymen to witness the achievements accomplished during the administrative stage between 1978 and 1983. For this work it was necessary to conduct a thorough investigation of the importance of television documentary and narrative genre; a brief excerpt from the history of television in the world of television in Zamora Chinchipe, the basics of television production, with the detail stage met in order to obtain a good quality product is also made. In the same order and direction reference to the concept and classification of the scripts, as the main tool to get the objectives outlined in the initial project is done.
