Bioética Jurídica: Cuestiones Legales sobre la Eutanasia en el Ecuador.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to reflect the issue of legal bioethics especially with such a sensitive issue and has led various disputes between State and Church or Church has been, as is euthanasia considered by some as a right to a dignified death and other unacceptable people because life is sacred and life belongs to God. To discuss euthanasia refers directly to the terminally ill by helping to lessen their suffering, usually euthanasia which some see as protection for patients with terminal, incurable and irreversible disease practiced the same proponents of euthanasia seen as a death dignified, through their own will or by third parties. We proceeded to investigate the legal issues on euthanasia in Ecuador, availing ourselves of the opinion of some doctors of the city of Loja and legal professionals, who consider that legislation in Ecuador allow the terminally ill to be willing to take the decision on his death
