Análisis de la intratextualidad existente en la obra Sin aliento y otros relatos de ultratumba, del escritor ecuatoriano Henry Bäx

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to include the work Sin Aliento y otros relatos de Ultratumba from the Ecuadorian writer Henry Bäx in the Terror genre into the Gothic narrative. The elements of terror are essential in this work and it take us to the fantastic and strange world of Gothic at the same time. The person who has not heard a legend or other works that belong to the collective conscience is who tries to forget an immemorial richness of our culture. Ghosts, specters, devils unexpectedly appear in a gloomy atmosphere. It merges between the real and the world of nightmares, which can fill us with fear and it can disturb our peace, and that is also part of the Literature. In this work, it will be found intratextual relations among the stories of Henry Bäx, each one on its own way, but all with a common theme: Terror. Through the respective analysis it is intended to be a bridge with readers into this genre, despite of the time that has not succumbed and even unfogotten.
