| Abstract: | The present project entitled "Analysis of the visitor profile, tourist potential of the canton of Saraguro and its tourism promotion"; aims to make a study of the current situation of this place in different fields, thereby counting with a solid base of information. Also, make a study regarding the kind of traveler who visits the canton, in order to determine their likes and preferences, and harness the tourist potential considering the needs of domestic and foreign visitors for tourism purposes. The project is based on four chapters, the first chapter consists of a situational analysis of the canton, in the second chapter the visitor profile is determined through a field study and the application of the survey, which was applied in the months of September October and November, when exists more influx of tourists due to the holiday season. In the third chapter, a participatory planning of local government and the community is made, in general. Finally, in the fourth chapter a tourist promotion of natural and cultural attractions is presented |
| Description: | El presente proyecto denominado: “Análisis del perfil del visitante, potencial turístico del cantón Saraguro y su promoción turística”; tiene como prioridad realizar un estudio de la situación actual del lugar en sus diferentes ámbitos, para de esta manera contar con una base sólida de información. También realizar un estudio del tipo de viajero que visita el cantón para determinar sus gustos y preferencias, con esto aprovechar el potencial turístico considerando las necesidades de los visitantes nacionales y extranjeros con fines turísticos. El proyecto está basado en cuatro capítulos, el primero consiste en realizar un análisis situacional del cantón, en el segundo se determina el perfil del visitante mediante un estudio de campo y con la aplicación de la encuesta, misma que fue aprovechada en los meses de septiembre, octubre y noviembre cuando hay más afluencia de turistas debido a la temporada de vacaciones. En el tercer capítulo se plantea una planificación participativa del gobierno local y de la comunidad en general, finalmente en el cuarto capítulo se presenta una promoción turística de los atractivos naturales y culturales. |
