Plan estratégico de desarrollo turístico sostenible para la parroquia Los Encuentros Cantón Yantzaza, Provincia de Zamora Chinchipe

Abstract

The objective of the present investigation is the development of a "Strategic Plan for sustainable tourism development for parish Los Encuentros” to foster a competitive management through the effective development of the tourism, managing resources in a sustainable manner that will benefit the local population and its economic development. It began with an analysis of the current situation of the parish, where general data relating to the physical environment, socio - cultural, destiny described economic productive, ecological territorial and administrative politician. Consecutively was the analysis of the tourism potential of the parish of Los Encuentros, through a study of tourism demand and supply, identifying the visitor profile and the zoning of tourist attractions; the existing problems in the destination was also identified with the community through a SWOT analysis in a workshop. Finally we proceeded to the strategic development and elaboration of programs and projects focused on short, medium and long term.
