Abstract

Abstract: The present research, which discuss a Diagnostic of high school teachers training needs , it was carried out at the San Gerardo Private Baccalaureate High School, from the Loja city Ecuador. This paper allowed to identify the training needs for this section of teachers, regarding the new Baccalaureate proposed by the Ministry of Education from Ecuador, by applying the questionnaire Training Needs . Baccalaureate Teachers. This measuring instrument is aimed to gather information about this Institution, the teachers personal information: about their professional training and their pedagogical practice, done and preferred training courses, etc. After an exhaustive analysis of the gotten results, it was established that the main training need of almost half of these teachers concerns with the process of the Ecuadorian teachers career proposed in the LOEI; and; considering that they manifested to have no or very little knowledge about this topic, it was done the proposal of a training course, giving this way objective solutions in terms of improving their professional training.
