Los conceptos y significados de la arquitectura ancestral local y su aplicación en viviendas unifamiliares contemporáneas de la ciudad de Loja

Abstract

Abstract: This research topics relevant to consideration around the family home, starting with a retrospective of the first manifestations of refuge and as over time the human habitat has been progressing. As the essence of this work to titration, it delves into the history legacy left by the lojana residential architecture manifested in his four terms whose meanings are collected and extracted for knowledge and appreciation. He also deepened the analysis of contemporary family homes in the region, in its Latin American local and regional level, this allowed us to know the proposals that emerged from the reinterpretation of these concepts in similar contexts. Finally, this paper ends with the application of criteria ancestral translated to contemporary in a house located north of the city of Loja. With this work, the feasibility of using these concepts and meanings in the effective design of domestic spaces, vital for the human being, which will enable the architectural work meets the criteria of identity, context, establishing region and place and contribute to its current situation.
