Análisis narratológico de la obra Huasipungo del autor ecuatoriano Jorge Icaza

Abstract

This degree work, called "narratological analysis of the work of Jorge Icaza Huasipungo" is structured into three main parts. The first chapter makes a survey of the theoretical concepts to be applied in the narratological analysis of the work, conceptualizing each of the elements of narratology by analyzing theories issued by experts. In the second chapter, we are interested in contextualizing the novel and its author, from a political, historical, social and economic approach, the relationship you have this book in the imagination of children's literature, its interrelationship with other disciplines and the contribution of Ecuadorian and Latin American to prevail the current of social realism authors.

Finally, this research presents an analysis of Huasipungo, considering classical structuralist and semiotic approaches such as plot, theme, character, narrator, time, space, tone, layout and motives. Narratological could extract elements from the analytical reading, which is a great contribution to the growth of the reader and the understanding of the reality of the time.
