Abstract

"Jungle Tales" by Uruguayan writer Horacio Quiroga, was published in 1918 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The jungle is the setting, with its mysteries, danger, hostility and beauty, facing the man, who in some cases is an ally and most do not.
