| Abstract: | In this research analyzed the documentary " With my heart in Yambo " of the Quito filmmaker Maria Fernanda Restrepo and its relationship with the social memory of Ecuador . The importance of the memory in the contemporary world, its link with identity management that power has made it and how it can become a tool of struggle. The documentary will be analyzed through the content analysis research tool, which consists of a quantitative and a qualitative stage; and using a semi-structured interview to the director of the documentary. |
| Description: | En este trabajo investigativo se analizará el documental “Con mi corazón en Yambo” de la cineasta quiteña María Fernanda Restrepo y su vinculación con la memoria social del Ecuador. Se analizará la importancia de la memoria en la contemporaneidad, su vinculación con la identidad, el manejo que el poder ha efectuado de ella y como se puede convertir en una herramienta de lucha. El documental se analizará, mediante la herramienta investigativa análisis de contenido, la cual está conformada de una etapa cuantitativa y una cualitativa; y mediante una entrevista semiestructurada a la directora del documental.
