Medición de Accesibilidad y Usabilidad de OER (Open Educational Resources), con Evaluación Heurísticas: Caso de Estudio REA UTPL

Abstract:With the mass use of Internet in Education Open Educational Resources they have become ideal materials to complement the teaching - learning; It is the fundamental web for distribution through institutional, social and open repositories where users can access and use REA; By virtue of the objective of this work degree is to assess the accessibility and usability of the REA using an case study of OER housed in the channel video UTPL, for it is proposed and applied a methodology for analysis, selection and evaluation accessibility and standards based on international web accessibility Initiative (WAI) of the W3C usability and heuristic evaluation criteria (SIRIUS) and theoretical framework with specific quality instruments (FIEC) which consists of two phases: 1) Selection of social repository UTPL when staying REA. 2) Evaluation of selected social repository and REA. The results of the evaluation shows the low level of accessibility and usability allowing to identify areas for improvement in the REA underlying the proposed improvements in accessibility and usability and implementation in the case study, in which interacts Youtube video UTPL and Dspace generating an accessible and usable view that solves the problems identified by the user with a level (AA)
