Mejorar la calidad de los ladrillos artesanales producidos en la ciudad de Catamayo¨

Abstract

The present investigation has a main purpose, improve to quality of handmade bricks produced in the city of Catamayo, obtaining experimental results of the behavior of masonry with concealer and without it. The raw material, the types of correctors, the process, how to cook and climate are influential factors at the time of the manufacture of the brick. This research is the development in the province of Loja, Catamayo town, neighborhood tejares and laboratory material resistance of Civil Engineering at the Universidad Technical University of Loja. Will analyze the deficiencies in the quality of the brick produced today, an analysis of acceptance by builders and construction professionals. Characterization tests of masonry currently elaborated, according to the criteria established by the Ecuadorian Standards Institute. He proceeded to give an alternative that supplement the deficiencies of the quality of the brick, experimental designs which give a dosage appropriate to the type of material raw material used without that represent a significant cost for the producers
