Estudio fenológico de Colicodendron scabridum Kunth y Cynophalla mollis Kunth en la Reserva Ecológica Arenillas

Abstract

This work focused on the study of phenology two woody species characteristic of tropical dry forests; Colicodendron scabridum mollis Kunth Kunth and Cynophalla. The study was conducted in a permanent plot of 9 hectares, established in Arenillas Ecological Reserve (REA), New Pintag sector. For a year (December 2014-November 2015), the presence of fall and sprout leaves, flower buds, flowers, green and ripe fruit was recorded. In Colicodendron scabridum fall leaves and bud it was observed throughout the follow-up year, with a peak in the dry months. The presence of floral and flower buttons was recorded in two periods; December 2014 - January 2015 and October-November 2015. The presence of fruit was evident immediately after flowering, the first record between December 2014 and February 2015, and the second in November 2015. In Cynophalla mollis, fall leaves and bud was observed throughout the follow-up year, with a peak in the dry months. The presence of flower buds was recorded between October and November, and flowers in November.
