Los roles de género en la literatura infantil ecuatoriana en el siglo XXI

Abstract

This paper shows an analysis titration with gender tales Ecuadorian authors who have been awarded prizes during the XXI century.

In this area, we sought to analyze the salient stories published by writers and writers during the twenty-first century with emphasis on the construction of gender roles.

One of the questions that seeks to answer in the investigation is whether children's stories of the winners Ecuadorian writers reproduce the traditional gender roles of Ecuadorian society.

The results of this research show that there are stories that do not reproduce the traditional gender roles and present a construction of characters that break stereotypes socially acceptable for both women and men. This is good news, because the stories begin to transform into a tool to build, from childhood, an equal partnership between men and women
