Análisis de las variables psicosociales asociadas a la salud mental de los estudiantes de primero y segundo año de bachillerato de la zona 09, distrito 07, circuito 03, del Ecuador 2016

Abstract

Abstract: The objective of this research is to analyze the distribution of psychosocial variables associated with mental health and substance use among students in first and second degree from a school in the city of Quito. In this research, the descriptive statistical methods and transversal that allowed them to identify, analyze and organize information, to do a sample of 60 students with ages ranging between 14 and 17 years of age and corresponding to first evaluated were employed and sophomore year. The applied instruments identified: psychological stress, social support, personality, alcohol and other substances, resilience, anxiety and depression and life satisfaction. The results showed that the protective variables predominate over risk variables must therefore say that there is considerable problems in alcohol and addictive substances.
