Abstract: In the present research is performs an analysis narratology of it work there are words that them fish not understand, of it author Ecuadorian Maria Fernanda Heredia, applying the theory of it Narratology developed by Mieke Bal in the theory of the narrative and it of Manuel Corrales in initiation to it Narratology. With this narratology analysis determined structural, formal and technical aspects used the author in his literary creation, with particular emphasis on the following element: events, actants, time, space, opened, recipient, and targeting. The work envelop in atmosphere of tenderness, affection, love and authenticity in the parents home, at school, in the house of Julian and the pets store, this is reflected in each chapter of the novel written by Heredia that focuses on fostering values.
