Plan estratégico de desarrollo turístico sostenible para el cantón Marcelino Maridueña, provincia del Guayas

Abstract

n the Strategic Plan for Sustainable Tourism Development for the Canton Marcelino Maridueña, province of Guayas, we present the situational diagnosis of the canton, with a description of its history, industrial plant, agriculture, economy, education, health, Its political administration, and other aspects necessary to draft a project, according to its delimiting factors. In the investigation carried out, the inventory of the current tourist plant was carried out, as well as its state; Were identified 12 tourist attractions that have the potential to become poles visited the canton. The tourist demand was made thanks to surveys that were applied to tourists who visited Marcelino Maridueña, with these data a SWOT analysis was carried out. In this way, plans were drawn up for tourism development, which are based on needs. Finally, it establishes the strategies that derive the programs and projects for the strengthening of the tourist activity of the canton and therefore the economic growth of the canton.
