Abstract: The present work was carried out with the purpose of investigating the work dynamics of the graduates of the degree of Environmental Management, while evaluating the labor demand in this area. To achieve this study, a quantitative approach was used, so that the answers obtained were presented using tables of frequencies and percentages. The sample consisted of 37 companies, most of them considered large, of which almost half have at least one professional in environmental management. Among the results it was observed that no greater importance is attached to the role of the professional in Environmental Management for the company. It was also observed that there is a lack of knowledge about all the activities that can be carried out for the benefit of the organizations and, lastly, the companies pose as a more important requirement the need that the applicant has previous work experience, a situation that affects the recent graduates. It is concluded that labor demand in environmental management is currently low.
