Abstract

Abstract: In this research work the analysis of works "The tiny voice" and innocent Dictionary", by Ecuadorian writer Jorge Vazquez Davila exposed. Both works present; texts and illustrations where the various literary figures are expressed in simple and understandable language that manifest the expression of ideas, experiences and feelings of the author in relation to his childhood using poetic literary genre The present their works readers poems aimed at children and youth. An analysis of the works, in order to identify the literary figures in the work for study. Dávila shown through individual experience of lyrical double, as the poet or the character with the sense of paradox, facilitating the interpretation of poems with characters that are in constant motion. The analysis found that his works, contains a simple and aesthetic language, develop their poetic texts a variety of topics within which highlights the values, nature, art, music, childhood and mostly family. His books are simple and are a valuable contribution to children's literature, involving the proper parental support in the journey that awakens the fantasy and learning in young readers of children's poetry. Among the results, it emerged that literary figures most used by the author in both works are anaphora, the pomposity and alliteration.
