Construcción de una herramienta para la creación de reportes de base de datos relacionales usando XML como lenguaje de definición

Abstract

n order to undertake any task, the basic step to be taken at the outset is to become familiar with the theoretical elements that will serve later to better understand the proposed content; This is why in the first chapter we make a collection and presentation of the basic concepts of Object Oriented Programming, as well as UML as a modeling tool. It should be noted that the development tool selected is Java, which is why a description of the programming elements in that language is recorded. On the other hand the necessary concepts about relational database are detailed since these are the starting point for the generation of reports raised in our subject. We must indicate that we worked with XML taking into consideration the flexibility that it offers to create our own definitions. At the end of this phase a brief description of the Report is made so that those who review this documentation have an initial notion of the scope of the application.
