Abstract

Water is the vital element for the survival of living beings and nature. Given the demands of the contemporary world, it is essential to provide potable water to the different communities that lack this service, as it is the basis of the well-being and development of peoples. Unbearable conditions of insalubrity and deaths from epidemics due to contaminated water consumption have forced local, regional and global agencies to take measures to protect health. Because the means of propagation of many diseases is directly related to the consumption of untreated water, many studies related to the subject have the purpose of equipping the population with water of the highest quality. With this background, our project will provide effective alternatives to provide this service to the population of the neighborhoods Los Hachas, La Floresta and La Florida, belonging to the canton Yantzaza in the province of Zamora Chinchipe; As well as the conservation and rational use of different sources of water supply and their environment.
