Implementación de una Estación de Aforo en Ia subcuenca del rio Zamora para el estudio de las relaciones Iluvia escorrentia en Ia ciudad de Loja

Abstract

Within the field of action of civil engineering, knowing the hydrological data of the sector where a project will be implemented is fundamental to control in a serious and responsible manner the conditions that can come to have the same. The erosion of soils caused by floods, the volumes of water accumulated for human use, the quantification of the minimum flows in times of drought, and the quantification of river floods are some data that can be obtained from From the study of gauges in the basins. Data necessary for a correct calculation and analysis in engineering projects. Hence the special interest of implementing a gauging station in the subbasin of the river Zamora, with which it will be possible to study the rain-water relations in the city of Loja. To the north of our city there is a limnigraphic station, which belongs to ExNERH, and is located in the same basin. The station proposed to be implemented will be located in a way that allows to know hydrological data in the limit of the urban area, being feasible to carry out the study of unitary hydrograms for the Loja estuary. The data obtained at the gauging station can be correlated with the dabs collected at the INERHI station for validation purposes. In addition to this, the UTPL has two meteorological stations, one located on the university campus and the other at the Agroecological Stations University, which will be used to compile the information necessary for the study of runoff rain.
