Abstract

The objective of the present research is to analyze possible solutions to stabilize the unstable soil deposit that affects the raw water conduction of the drinking water master plan of Loja, in the salapa sector, which is of vital importance to Loja As it will supply water to the city. A careful study will guarantee safety to the constructed works. The geological-geotechnical study of the Drinking Water Master Plan of Loja in the Salapa sector will allow definitive technical solutions to be avoided in the subsequent deficiencies in the water supply to the city. The development of the thesis was divided into two parts: the field, where all the information was obtained through in situ tests and the extraction of samples to be taken to the laboratory of the Technical University of Loja, And secondly the interpretation of results, the analysis and design of technical solutions in this section of the driving. The final document provides the reader with a general guide to follow to solve a problem in this type of works.
