La comunicación social desde la actual perspectiva constitucional ecuatoriana

Abstract

Abstract: Firstly, an overview of the constitutional reality of the new system of social communication is established. Social Communication and its introduction in the new constitutional scheme and the regimen of good living are defined. The new system of social communication, its actors, and its inclusion in the National Plan for Good Living is determined. An approach of communication and information from the constitutional field as the rights of good living; a constitutional analysis and of the law projects of these rights in aspects such as plurality, diversity, prevalence of contents, the conscience clause, professional secrecy and confidentiality of the source. The rights consecrated constitutionally as part of the new system of social communication are examined, such as opinion, freedom of speech, rectification, replica, information, confronting them with the universal declaration of human rights. Finally, the relationship between social communication and the radio electric spectrum, the constitutional approach, their actions, current structure, projection, and the current state of concessions of frequencies for radio and television stations within the new regulatory framework.
