Abstract

The constitutional commitment of every government is to protect life and property. There are currently many programs for the analysis of structures, but in some cases we do not have access to them or do not allow easy comprehension of them. For dynamic analysis, contemplated in the program of Structures H, it is necessary to devote considerable time which prevents to project in the curricula some new subject, reason for which it has been seen the necessity to look for an alternative to diminish time by the automation of calculations. This automation through a sequential macro of Excel through the Visual Basic Editor, gives us a great advantage to advance faster in the topics referring to dynamic analysis, optimizing teaching time. As a consequence, students will have the confidence to propose much deeper research among other perspectives. The application of this project to the practice will be of immediate form, since it will serve as support to the subjects that are dictated referring to this subject.
