Los ecuatorianismos como elementos de la identidad cultural y social en el ámbito educativo

Abstract

Abstract: The language is a particular characteristic of the identity of a people, that's why the present work is aimed at highlighting the degree of use in the Ecuadorian dialect of words chosen at random. For this, the investigation has been carried out in the province of Pichincha, Quito, Tumbaco; addressed to 5 professionals and 5 non professionals between the ages of 18 to 27, 28 to 37, 38 to 47, 48 to 57 and 58 to 67 years. The methodology used has been the mixed (qualitative-quantitative) approach, where 10 surveys have been carried out in relation to 50 assigned words. In this way, through graphs, each word has been analyzed with its respective contrast with sources such as the DLE, Dictionary of Ecuadorianisms and data obtained from informants, highlighting the representativeness, frequency and validity of these words. In this way it is concluded that the majority of words are not part of the national identity, including those that are of exclusive use of the country; therefore they have lost or are losing validity in the daily dialect.
