nvestigate the history of the Gardens and Open Spaces in the houses of the Colony (XVIII-XIX) in the vti historic center of the city of Loja. • Obtain historical support for the type of vegetation, usc, design, and typology of gardens and open spaces in the Colonial dwelling. • Generate criteria for valuing the gardens of colonial dwellings. • Establish key principles for the integral conservation of colonial dwellings. • Document the history and changes undergone by gardens over time, and the evolution of society.
