Diseño de un centro deportivo inclusivo en la ciudad de Loja

Abstract

Sport is important in the physical and psychic development of the human being, to meet this need must have the appropriate physical spaces. A sports center or urban space must guarantee the participation of all people without any difficulty. Comprehensive accessibility is a fundamental requirement for people with disabilities to enjoy these areas. However, in our local context, we know that people with disabilities have limited possibilities of movement and interaction in the city services, in this case, sports centers do not solve or empower the mobility of people with different capacities. Facing this reality, it is necessary to take control measures in the study, design, planning and adaptation of this type of works, for the suppression of obstacles or architectural barriers. Convinced of this, based on a normative, conceptual and technical study, this thesis proposes the "Design of an inclusive sports center in the city of Loja" that allows free access for all, developing and empowering the different cultural, formative and of physical activity.
