| Beschreibung: | The present research is related to “The use of Supplementary materials in EFL Classes: A Comparative analysis of public and private high schools”. The aim of this research is to know the frequency, pertinence, and appropriateness in the use of supplementary material in public and private high schools. This research was carried out in Quito in a publichigh school and in Tumbaco in a private one. The sample chosen for this study were 8th,9th, and 10th grades; 15 classes were observed in each high school. The students were boys and girls between 12 to 16 years old. The methods used in this research were qualitative in order to analyze and describe the supplementary materials used in EFL classrooms,their appropriateness and variety; and quantitative method to establish the frequency of use of those materials. |
