Prototipo arquitectónico de vivienda de interés social con contenedores portuarios para la ciudad de Loja

Abstract

Abstract: Social housing has been deteriorating due to the construction of projects that have generated many problems such as: lack of space, overcrowding, or allegation. This discomfort is experienced by a high percentage of families withinthe social housing programs promoted by public institutions in Loja city. This research gathers information on cargotecture, or architecture in containers. This type of architecture is focused on the development of a prototype of social housing to adapt to the changes within the family structure of people with lower incomes. For this purpose, a project based on a flexible and modular architecture is presented with theobjective of allowing the user to build, expand or modify their homes without generating large amounts of waste and in the shortest possible time. This construction system offers affordable housing that meets the comfort and safety requirements necessary to ensure the protection of its occupants.
