Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to carry out an analysis of the Sustainable Development Goal No. 16, which refers to peace, justice and solid institutions, it is one of the most important SDGs, since, if a State does not comply with with the same, it will be very difficult for others to comply. This SDG refers to the fact that every State must be formed by impartial institutions, whose purpose is the protection of the interests of the citizenry, rather than the interest of the members of the government, as well as the State must have the citizenship as its north. in achieving their goals. The methodology used was eminently qualitative, based on the doctrinal analysis, as well as on the analysis of judgment No. 023-18-SIS CC Case No. 0047-09-IS, issued by the Constitutional Court of Ecuador, where the violation of the right to a healthy environment. It was concluded that the SDGs constitute an essential tool to combat the inequalities of humanity.
