| Abstract: | Abstract:The technological infrastructure in credit unions is a vital asset, since a failure or delay can generate losses that affect the organization. In this sense, the monitoring of servers is the nerve centre of the financial operation that will allow the most sensitive information of the financial institution to be safeguarded. In this project, four relevant variables were analysed: bandwidth, CPU consumption, RAM memory and hard disk usage. For the analysis of these variables, the Pandora FMS tool was used to monitor the performance of the servers in time periods of 12 hours, one week and fifteen days, as well as data related to the variables and the interpretation of their results. As an important requirement of the SEPS regulation, monitoring with a tool that systemically extracts the requirements of the financial institution will allow early identification of risks. |
| Description: | Resumen:La infraestructura tecnológica en las cooperativas de ahorro y crédito representan un activo de vital importancia, ya que una falla o retraso puede generar pérdidas que afecten a la organización. En este sentido el monitoreo de servidores es el centro neurálgico de la operación financiera que va a permitir salvaguardar la información más sensible de la institución financiera. En el presente proyecto se analizó cuatro variables relevantes como: ancho de banda, consumo de CPU, memoria RAM y uso del disco duro. Para el análisis de estas variables se utilizó la herramienta Pandora FMS que se encargó de monitorear el rendimiento y desempeño de los servidores en periodos de tiempo de 12 horas, una semana y de quince días, así como datos relativos a las variables y la interpretación de sus resultados. Al ser un requerimiento importante de la normativa SEPS, realizar un monitoreo con una herramienta que extraiga de manera sistémica los requerimientos de la institución financiera permitirán identificar riesgos anticipadamente. |
