Identificación del estrés en docentes ecuatorianos durante la pandemia de COVID-19

Abstract

Abstract: The objective of this research was to identify teachers´s stress factors of two public institutions located in Naranjito city, during the year 2021. The research had a quantitative, non experimental, cross-sectional, exploratory and descriptive design, with application in the educational context. The population was made up of basic education and high school levels educators of the aforementioned locality, defined by an accessibility, accidental and non probabilistic sample of 40 of them. The study was based on descriptive, analytic-synthetic, inductive, deductive and Likert scaling methods. There were applied five recollection data instruments to the defined sample. It was concluded that a majority proportion of the teachers who participated in the study, was located in low levels of technostress and burnout, but there were also subgroups of educators that were located within the medium levels, or within the framework of the high level, which represents the possible presence of one or both syndromes in these population subsets according to the intensity mentioned above.
