Abstract

Abstract: Educatión is an indicator of development, which has changed over time, has adapted to the social, cultural and economic factors of the context. Through this research entitled the Principles of social constructivism in the Institutional Pedagogical Proposal of the Milenio Sayausí Educational Unit of the cantón Cuenca, province of Azuay, explains the contribution of Social Constructivism to student learning as the basis of the Institutional Pedagogical Proposal, a qualitative methodology was used with an interpretativist philosophy, an inductive approach in the collection and documentary analysis, through a relationship matrix as an instrument to clarify the similarities or differences around the concepts addressed. Demonstrating how the principles of social constructivism of Claudia Ordoñez are present in the PPI and are applied in the educational curriculum in the curricular meshes promoting autonomous and practical learning. It is concluded that the Pedagogical Proposal is fundamental for Educational Institutions, improving pedagogical practices, it proposes an active learning, centered on the student, through previous experiences until reaching a significant learning.
