Formación en competencias digitales: diagnóstico a docentes de bachillerato en Instituciones Educativas del Ecuador

Abstract

Abstract: The new technological advances require teachers to acquire new digital skills to facilitate their teaching practice, in this virtue, the development of this research work was proposed, whose theme is the formation ofdigital skills: diagnosis of high school teachers in Educational Institutions of Ecuador, which aims to diagnose the level of digital skills of high school and upper basic teachers, taking into account the common framework of digital teaching skills as a basis. This research was carried out in educational institutions in the cantons of Palanda and Chinchipe in which a total of 10 teachers of the subjects of Mathematics and Physics participated. The methods that were used to develop the research are: the inductive, deductive, analytical, synthetic, hermeneutic and statistical method, in addition, to guarantee the efficiency of the research process, the survey technique was used and to collect the information through an ad hoc online questionnaire. The results obtained reflect that the teachers investigated have an intermediate level in digital skills.
