Abstract

Abstract: The present work Principles of Constructivism in the Institutional Pedagogical Proposal of the School of Basic Education "Alonzo de Mercadillo" carried out in the canton of Loja, province of Loja, presents as general objective the explanation of the contribution of Constructivism to the learning of the students as a foundation of the Institutional Pedagogical Proposal, to know the contribution of the Constructivist Principles in the teaching-learning of students in order to reflect on current pedagogical practices and seek to implement profound changes in education, since these principles show advantages that help the institution to opt for better changes in pedagogical actions and curricular policies promoting students to learn. Initially, the school principal was asked for the Institutional Pedagogical Proposal, and the principles of Constructivism integrated in the Institutional Pedagogical Proposal were identified.It is concluded that the work of the educational institution is oriented towards the student and their appropriation of knowledge in a meaningful way, so that they have a better line with the resources so that each teacher of the institution develops a practical, effective and useful learning for the student.
