Salud mental en Trabajadores Sanitarios durante la Pandemia de COVID-19en Azogues y Biblianen el año 2021-2022

Abstract

Abstract: The present work was developed with the objective of determining the mental health status of health workers during the COVID19 pandemic in the Azogues and Biblian cantons of the province of Cañar during the year 2021. The participants were 36 doctors from Azogues and Biblian, the following instruments were applied: Ad hoc sociodemographic questionnaire, Chronic Work Stress Inventory (MBI-HSS), Depression, Anxiety and Stress Scales (DASS 21), Acceptance and Action Questionnaire (AAQ -II) 7, Scale of Loneliness (UCLA-3) and the Sleep Quality Index (PSQI). The results obtained showed that 58.3% of the population is male, 61.1% is single, the average age of the participants is 32 years, according to the perception of burnout, 16.7% manifest a high emotional exhaustion, in terms of stress, anxiety and depression they present severe levels with 11.1%, 30.6% and 19.4% respectively, the average of psychological inflexibility is 20.81 and the perception of loneliness is 5.36, finally 2.8% He has a high difficulty sleeping.
