| Abstract: | Abstract: The present work was developed with the objective of determining the mental health status of health workers during the COVID19 pandemic in the Azogues and Biblian cantons of the province of Cañar during the year 2021. The participants were 36 doctors from Azogues and Biblian, the following instruments were applied: Ad hoc sociodemographic questionnaire, Chronic Work Stress Inventory (MBI-HSS), Depression, Anxiety and Stress Scales (DASS 21), Acceptance and Action Questionnaire (AAQ -II) 7, Scale of Loneliness (UCLA-3) and the Sleep Quality Index (PSQI). The results obtained showed that 58.3% of the population is male, 61.1% is single, the average age of the participants is 32 years, according to the perception of burnout, 16.7% manifest a high emotional exhaustion, in terms of stress, anxiety and depression they present severe levels with 11.1%, 30.6% and 19.4% respectively, the average of psychological inflexibility is 20.81 and the perception of loneliness is 5.36, finally 2.8% He has a high difficulty sleeping. |
| Description: | Resumen: El presente trabajo se desarrolló con el objetivode determinar el estado de la salud mental de trabajadores sanitarios durante la pandemia de COVID 19 en los cantones Azogues y Biblián de la provincia del Cañar durante el año 2021. Los participantes fueron 36 médicos de Azogues y Biblian, se aplicaron los siguientes instrumentos: Cuestionario ad hoc socio demográfico, Inventario del estrés laboral crónico (MBI-HSS), Escalas de Depresión, Ansiedad y Estrés (DASS 21), Cuestionario de aceptación y acción (AAQ -II) 7, Escala de Soledad (UCLA-3) y el índice de calidad de sueño (PSQI). Los resultados obtenidos, mostraron que el 58.3% de la población es de género masculino, el 61.1% es de estado civil soltero, la media de edad de los participantes es de 32 años, de acuerdo a la percepción de burnout, el 16.7% manifiesta un agotamiento emocional alto, en cuanto al estrés, ansiedad y depresión presentan niveles severos con el 11.1%, 30.6% y 19.4% respectivamente, la media de la inflexibilidad psicológica es de 20.81 y la percepción de soledad es de 5.36, finalmente el 2.8%presenta una alta dificultad para dormir. |
