Abstract

Abstract: The objective of this research is to determine the level of financial and stock market culture of the companies in the city ofQuito (metropolitan sector) in the year 2022. Due to the fact that an adequate financial and stock market knowledge is directly related to the well-being of the citizenship. The methodology was seen from a non-experimental descriptive approach, whose primary function was descriptive research. The methods used were: analytical, synthetic, deductive and inductive. The techniques were observation, documentary analysis, expert consultation and survey. Regarding the stock market culture, it was identified that 69% of businessmen indicate that there is a directly proportional relationship between the degree of education and the investment in stock market instruments; Regarding the diversification of risk, 48% of businessmen state that if the risk is diversified. Regarding the financial culture, 35% of businessmen know what the costs and benefits of credit are, this shows that there is a lack of education among those who are in charge of companies in the city of Quito; In what is inherent in determining the financial trends that affect manifest power, this analysis confirms the previous premise that training courses are required to achieve a better stock market and financial culture.
