Abstract

Abstract: This research is based on the problems exhibited by the downtown area of the city of Loja, in the face of the conservation and loss of architectural heritage for this reason it must be emphasized good interventions in our city and above all emphasize how contemporary architecture can be integrated in a forceful way without falling into false historical records.A morphological analysis was made of six urban stretches that have urban gapsthat have been neglected by the lack of planning or factors such as the abandonment that have generated that the urban image of these patrimonial stretches is lost in our city.The general objective was to develop a proposal for a dynamic element that promotes integration and with it the preservation of the surrounding heritage, focusing on promoting an improvement in the imbalances of services, equipment and housing.or the development of the study, an analytical methodology was used of theoretical, normative/investigative bases of background on the city of Loja, and for the development of the project with the criteria of patrimonial design that seeks to propose an integration and improvement in the city.
