Abstract: The purpose of this investigation was to the evaluation of the learning of the initial education level, during the pandemic: perception of the teachers of Cuenca province of Azuay where it is broken down as follows: four educational units that include a private one and the four fiscal ones and whose The general objective is to illustrate the perception that teachers of the educational level of initial education have about the evaluation of learning during the health emergency of COVID-19. The focus of this research is based on the qualitative perspective, with a field design. The instrument used was different blocks of questions with a Likert scale base, being the most prominent on the moments of evaluation, evaluation techniques and the evaluation instruments where they show a high degree of dissatisfaction on the part of the teachers and that At the same time, it has allowed them to know clearly how to understand the educational processes since it made it easier for the teacher to clearly understand what the child managed to learn, to make judgments and criteria to assess their work.
