Elaboración de un itinerario interpretativo para la laguna de Yambo como apoyo para la educación ambiental y el ecoturismo de la zona

Abstract

Abstract: The Yambo lagoon considered a natural resource, the distraction activities for visitors are being developed in which its landscape characteristics are not adequately used, there is a lack of mechanisms such as environmental interpretation for its management. Therefore, a challenge is posed to keep this natural area cared for and protected. The present investigation based include many methodology, considers recompilation bibliographic information, interviews and surveys implemented in administrators and tourists who visit this natural area, aimed to establish a baseline and generate a diagnosis on issues of environmental interpretation; In order to recognize the natural elements of greatest interest with interpretive potential, considering the potential elements, it is observed that 58.6% of the visitors show interest in knowing the lagoon, 11.1% of those surveyed show interest in enjoying the landscapes and the 9.1% of those surveyed have mentioned that they feel attracted by the infrastructure (tarabita, accessibility). In this way, emphasis will be proposed on implementing the environmental Interpretation in three aspects: scenic beauty, entertainment, but most importantly the conservation.
