Abstract:The present investigation is the study of the Sustainable Development Goals, for this we will investigate Objective No. 5 Gender Equality, which refers to the study of a sentence of the Constitutional Court of Ecuador exposed sexual abuse, adapted to reality in the Constitutional and criminal classification regarding these aberrational behaviors that have taken a greater presence in recent times in Ecuador, where state responsibility is transcendental to guarantee the care and protection of children against this type of violence. Within the legal study about the regulations applied in the country and its effectiveness with respect to this vulnerable group, this research is of an explanatory legal and projective legal nature based on the exegetical method, such as transfer techniques, sentencing study and online research. . Gender equality is an important term for the development and evolution of society, the lack of this principle implies violence, representing a global health problem, the result evidenced in the SDGs protects the rights to legal protection, personal integrity, honor and dignity and gender equality.
