Abstract: The present investigation will allow us to know about the Principles of Social Constructivism in the Institutional Pedagogical Proposal, which are, how they are related to the institutional proposal once knowing their meaning, distinguish and identify each one of them in the pedagogical proposal of the Educational Unit " El Sauce School" how these principles are embodied in the pedagogical proposal of the selected institution that is located in the parish of Tumbaco, determine that approach they use to develop the pedagogical proposal at the same time to know how constructivism influences the teaching-learning process in such a way that the traditionalist method is put aside and give the opportunity to this theory that allows the student to be the main author of the process with the guidance and guidance of the teacher placing the teacher as a mediator, facilitator and coordinator of this process.
