Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this paper is to analyze a sentence issued by the National Criminal Court of Justice in relation to Goal 5 (Gender Equality) of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The National Court of Justice issues a sentence on a cassation case, of a previous resolution on a rape of a minor, legally and efficiently applying the Constitutional principles without violating any of the Constitutional Guarantees, on the contrary, it allows the rights of effective judicial protection, legal certainty and the principle of procedural speed to be respected. The Sustainable Development Goals are a universal call to take action to end poverty, improve the quality of life of people, protect our planet and improve the life prospects of all people in the world, these in its goal number 5 seek to achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls, where several of its goals want to end all types of discrimination suffered by women regardless of their age, including sexual exploitation or any kind of exploitation.
