Rediseño de la ciclovía que atraviesa la ciudad de Loja (Ecuador) de este a oeste con base en la movilidad sostenible

Abstract

Abstract: Sustainable mobility allows citizens to satisfy their needs without affecting their own property or the environment. Thus, countries such as Mexico, Colombia, Peru and Ecuador have implemented mobility plans focused on sustainable transport. For this reason, in the city of Loja, during the "Urban Regeneration" cycle lanes were implemented within the city; however, there are reports of damage to the infrastructure and citizens confirming the lack of connectivity of the bike path network. In this way, the objective of this work is to redesign the bike path network that crosses the city from east to west, by collecting data in the field and formulating surveys with mobile applications such as: ArcGIS Survey 123 and Mi Ruta; evaluating the improvements to be implemented in the bike path network. Thus, 5 new routes were proposed for the redesign of the cycle path, which will be bidirectional with physical vegetable separators. The proposal was also analyzed making a comparison with the conditions of the intervened streets, for which reason the current distribution of the space was readjusted so that the cycle lanes could be included.
